The pack includes appearances for all eight Critters, but “included” and “immediately usable” are different conditions. The four progression characters retain their normal unlock requirement.
Check the problem in the right order
- Confirm that Escape from Playtime - Founders Pack is associated with the Steam account running the game.
- Identify the specific shiny variant you are trying to use.
- Check whether that Critter's default version is available to select.
- If the default character is locked, focus on character progression before troubleshooting the outfit.
- If the default character is available and the DLC is owned, record the remaining locked state for a bug report.
The Perm-A-Lounge computer is the game's place to track progress and examine earned rewards. It is a useful place to review your progress, but no exact character threshold is established here.
Recognize a problem outside the stated restriction
The DLC's explicit progression note names four characters. If a skin for a starting Critter is unavailable, that note does not by itself explain the issue. Recheck DLC ownership and the exact appearance being selected.
Also verify the reward's name. Midnight CatNap and the Project: Playtime Hoodie follow different acquisition routes and are not identified as Founders Pack rewards.
Report an unresolved lock with useful details
Include the affected character, whether its default version is selectable, and whether the Founders Pack appears in your Steam content. A screenshot of the locked appearance is more useful than a report saying only that the pack is broken.
No confirmed repair procedure is available here for a lock that persists after both ownership and the default-character requirement are satisfied. Avoid deleting progression as a speculative fix for a progression-dependent reward.
