Identify the game before installing

The store name is Escape from Playtime, and the game description also uses A Smiling Critters Adventure. You control a small Smiling Critter inside the Playtime Co. factory, collecting resources and trying to survive with your team.

This is a separate game from Project: Playtime and the numbered Poppy Playtime chapters. Owning a chapter game does not identify the correct Steam library entry. Check the title and developer together before choosing your download.

Check the Windows requirements

Use these requirements to compare your PC before installing. Meeting the minimum specification is a compatibility starting point; it does not promise a particular frame rate or graphics preset.

Install the current game rather than an old test

Find Escape from Playtime in Steam, confirm the Mob Entertainment listing, then install and launch that game from your library. The October open-beta test was a temporary build with its own access window. An old beta code is not the route into the released Early Access game.

Early Access starts with the Playcare School area, eight playable Critters across starting choices and progression unlocks, and online cooperative play. It is an evolving release, so judge the installation by the content available now rather than treating planned additions as already included.
